 <title>New moves for the Pastoral Greenhouse Gas Research Consortium</title>

Opened by the Prime Minister John Key on 3 March, the New Zealand Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre brings together several partners, including the Pastoral Greenhouse Gas Research Consortium.

&lt;p&gt;
With the overarching research objective to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the consortium was established with an initial $6.6 million investment by the Foundation&lt;a href=&quot;/glossary/term/404&quot; class=&quot;glossary-icon&quot;&gt;&lt;img src=&quot;/sites/all/themes/frsttheme/images/glossary-icon.png&quot; alt=&quot;[definition]&quot; title=&quot;The Foundation for Research, Science and Technology is a Crown entity governed by a Board appointed by the Minister of Research, Science and Technology.

The awards celebrate New Zealand business success in the world, with three general award categories recognising the direct contribution that small, medium and large businesses make to New Zealand’s economy.
