Budget 2010: Foundation investment funding for 2010/2011 released

For the year 2010/2011, $483.9m will be available to the Foundation for research funding, compared to $464.5m in 2009/2010. This will go up to $498.9m by 2013/2014. In 2010/2011, $29.5m extra funding will be used for investments to support business-led R&D. $17.8m of this is new money coming in this year, with the remainder $11.7m coming from the re-prioritisation.
