All research organisations receiving investment from the Foundation have a contract with us.
Investment managers negotiate contract details with their clients, using information supplied in the application documents.
When details are finalised during the negotiation period, a contract is prepared for parties to sign. Following sign-off, contracts become active and payments commence. See the contracts we've funded page for more information.
Information sent to us by research providers is one method we use to monitor performance of research contracts. We also work with other stakeholders to ensure value for New Zealand from research.
Researchers must also provide annual reports. A small section from these reports for public good science is made available to the public via our website so the public can see what research we have invested in. View current and past investments.
