How it Works

We listen carefully to your requirements, develop a brief project description, and then search our established networks and global connections to find and pre-qualify a handful of the best individuals and organisations to introduce to you. We do this anonymously (using only the Foundation? name) and we deliver results in 15 working days.

The service is open to all and there is no paperwork.

About our Global Expert Network

We use a knowledge network of more than 20,000 pre-screened and qualified experts from leading universities, research institutions and corporations around the world to help you achieve your goals. We work closely with:

• NZ Expert Network
  • New Zealand Universities and Crown Research Institutes (CRIs)
    The world-class expertise you seek can often be found right at home. We have formal arrangements with all of New Zealand's leading Universities and CRIs. They review our projects and quickly respond with the names of interested and qualified experts from their faculty and staff.
  • NZ Professional Network
    We have relationships with NZ-based engineers, researchers and industry consultants from private companies that can assist our clients overcome technical challenges.
• Leading Government and Technical Institutes from Around the World
  We have agreements with a variety of trade commissions (such as the Consulate and Trade Office of Canada) and government and independent technical organisations (such as the Danish Technological Institute). These Global Expert partners have relationships with established scientists and engineers in their countries, regions, or internationally and actively work with us to find the right people to assist New Zealand companies.
• International Professional Networks
  Through our projects we have built relationships with an impressive array of world-class experts from all corners of the globe. These people help our clients with product development and testing, technology and market assessment, process optimisation, overcoming regulatory barriers to trade, finding supply-chain partners and other complex research and development issues.

Pricing and Funding

• Partners, our standard service, costs $3,500. This buys an annual subscription, which includes 1 global search and 2 Hotline searches. Subscribers are able to do additional searches for a reduced fee of $2,950, within the subscription term.
• Partners+ is for organisations seeking to do between 4 and 12 global searches per year. The annual subscription price is $9,950 which includes 5 Hotline searches and up to 3 search planning workshops per year. The workshops present a chance for your engineers, scientists, marketers, and managers to discuss their current challenges and opportunities with our Specialists and to determine priorities and approaches to finding expert help. Global searches are an additional $950 each.

Hotline refers to searches of our pre-screened New Zealand Expert Network. Suitable experts are provided to our client in e-mail form. Hotline searches are only available as a part of a Global Expert Partners or Partners+ subscriptions.

All prices GST exclusive.

Global Expert clients are eligible to apply for funding for up to 50% of the expert’s fees for qualified research and development projects.
