Recognising excellence
We host a number of events and awards to encourage and recognise excellence in research, science and technology in New Zealand.
- The Foundation? holds an annual workshop for its Public Good Science and Technology clients.
MacDiarmid Young Scientists of the Year Awards
These annual awards recognise excellence and innovation in New Zealand's top young researchers. The awards are given to students who can communicate their first-class science to the the next generation of potential scientists and researchers. Entries for the 2009 competition will open in November.
MacDiarmid Awards student seminar
We host student seminars each year following the MacDiarmid Awards. They give postgraduate researchers practical information and advice on furthering their career and the opportunity to network with other researchers.

The Technology Commendation Awards
- These awards celebrate individuals and companies who have grown their business and improved New Zealand’s economy using new technology.
