Organisation

We are a Crown entity governed by a Board appointed by the Minister of Research, Science and Technology.

We employ 94 staff, in our head office in Wellington and at regional offices in Auckland and Christchurch.

Structure

We are currently revising our structure, with a view to having a new structure formally take effect on 24 August. In the interim, we have appointed some acting Group Managers to assist us during the transition process.

We have six operational groups, each led by a Group Manager. The Group Managers and our Chief Executive make up the Senior Management Team.
